Do you ever have those times when you are really craving a green smoothie??? Well I was having one of those times. Which hey, I’m not complaining, I would much rather be craving a green smoothie than a cupcake.
This green smoothie recipe is a perfectly balanced snack or meal. It includes protein, good fat, water for hydration, and of course the delicious greenery!
Makes one serving.
Ingredients:
1 packed full cup of Kale
1/2 Cucumber
1 Celery Stalk, and I added another half of a stalk in my smoothie afterward to much on!
1 tbsp. Coconut Oil
2 tbsp. Hemp seeds, plus a few more to put on top
1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder, I used Garden of Life Raw Protein
1 cup Water
Directions:
Combine all ingredients into a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into a glass, sprinkle with some more hemp seeds and perhaps add another celery stalk, then sip away!


Yum! I love the color. Any way to get kale into my diet is a win.
